Fall Branch Collection

The Salisbury Township Public Works Department will be conducting a curbside branch collection for residents during the week of October 9, 2023. Residents should place their branches at the curb on Sunday, October 8 after 6:00 pm and crews will be around during the week to collect them. Branches may be no larger than five-feet long and five inches in diameter, and they should be bundled and tied with twine. An open container may be used for small twigs, but no bags or lids are permitted. No more than six bundles/cans per property is permitted.

National Night Out 2023

The Salisbury Township Police Department is hosting National Night Out on Tuesday, August 1 at the Salisbury Elementary School from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Please see the attached PDF for more information.  In addition, the Department is seeking basket donations for the basket raffle at the event.  Below are some basket ideas, but please feel free to add your own personal touch. We ask for the completed baskets/items to be delivered to the Police Department at 3000 S. July Utility Bills

Please be advised that the July utility bills were mailed out last week. The net amount is due by July 25th. If you are set up with Xpress Bill Pay, please be sure to check your email. You should be receiving your utility bill this week. If you don’t receive your bill, please give a call to 484-661-5805.

UPDATE:Dogs Running at Large near Franko Park have been contained and removed

UPDDATE: Dogs have been removed from Eastern Salisbury. Now that they are not running at large their behavior has changed. They are safe and calm. The Salisbury Township Police Department has been getting reports of two aggressive dogs running at large in and around the area of Franko Park and South Mountain. These dogs have been spotted multiple times at Franko Park, Honeysuckle Road, and East Rock Road. We are working with the State Dog Warden, Animal Control, and residents to try and locate and trap these two dogs and remove them safely. They have not been friendly and usually run when observed. Republic Services’ Summer Hours

 

Please be advised that Salisbury Township has authorized Republic Services to start as early as 4:00 a.m. on forecasted days of extreme heat this summer.  Please be sure to place garbage and recycling curbside no later than the evening before to facilitate collection.
