Invitation to Bid – Proposal for SANITARY SEWER SYSTEM REHABILITATION OPEN-CUT SPOT REPAIRS
The Township of Salisbury will receive sealed bids for the open-cut sanitary sewer repairs at various locations within the Township’s sanitary sewer system. The repairs will include excavation and repair of various sewer pipe mains and laterals. The repairs are spot repairs and will not involve full length manhole run replacement. Sealed bids will be received until 2:30 p.m. (prevailing time) on Tuesday, August 4, 2015 at the Township of Salisbury Municipal Building, 2900 S. Pike Avenue, Allentown, PA 18103, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud.

Completed applications must be returned (email not acceptable) no later than 4:30 PM on Monday, August 31, 2015 with a $15.00 non-refundable fee (cash, check or money order). Salisbury Township and the Civil Service Commission assume no responsibility for applications submitted by mail. Salisbury Township Civil Service rules and regulations apply to testing. Mandatory pre-employment process includes: physical fitness, written, and oral tests, background check, and medical/psychological exams (after job offer). Start of Playground Program at Lindberg Park to be delayed
At Lindberg Park only, the start of Summer Playground will be postponed until Wednesday, June 24th (tentatively, weather permitting) due to the construction schedule for the park improvements and potential impacts on the playground activities. Parents and children are encouraged to attend Green Acres or Devonshire Parks in the interim.
