Trash and Recycling Pickup CANCELLED: March 21, 2018
Republic Services has cancelled trash and recycling collection for Wednesday, March 21, 2018 due to inclement weather predictions. Recycling only will be picked up on Thursday, March 22, 2018, and normal trash collection will resume on Saturday. Thursday and Friday routes will not be affected by the change. Request For Proposals: Emergency Services Comprehensive Review
The Township of Salisbury will accept sealed proposals for the analysis and assessment of all aspects of the Township’s emergency services and emergency management (incl. the designated fire service response agencies within the municipality, the Salisbury Township Police Department and the Salisbury Township Emergency Management Agency). The work shall include, but is not limited to, performing a complete and comprehensive review of the Township’s emergency services and emergency management, along with applicable legislation and standards and local municipal goals, and providing the municipality with recommendations to increase and improve efficiencies, enhance coordination of services provided, reduce costs and avoid unnecessary duplication of services and costs.
To be considered, Salisbury Township must receive three (3) copies of a proposal no later than 3:30 p.m. (ET) on Friday, April 20, 2018, at Salisbury Township, 2900 S. Pike Avenue, Allentown, PA 18103, at which time they will be publicly opened. All Proposals should be sealed, marked and addressed as follows: “Proposal for Emergency Services Comprehensive Review”, Cathy Bonaskiewich, Township Manager, Salisbury Township, 2900 South Pike Avenue, Allentown, PA 18103.
