The Township of Salisbury will receive sealed bids for the following projects: Projects “A”, “B”, “C” – Replacement of approximately 3,250 linear feet of 6-inch water main and appurtenances along Paxford Road, Maumee Avenue and Montgomery Street in the Township of Salisbury. Sealed bids will be received until 2:00 p.m. (prevailing time) on Monday, April 16, 2018, at the Township of Salisbury Municipal Building, 2900 South Pike Avenue, Allentown, PA 18103, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud. All bids shall be sealed, marked and addressed as follows:

PROPOSAL FOR:
PROJECT “A” – PAXFORD ROAD
PROJECT “B” – MAUMEE AVENUE
PROJECT “C” – MONTGOMERY STREET

Mailed Bids must be placed in a separate sealed carrier envelope noted “BID ENCLOSED“. All mailed bids must be received at the Township before or on Monday, April 16, 2018 by 2:00 p.m. (prevailing time).

Copies of the Drawings, Specifications and Bid Forms may be examined and obtained at the office of Keystone Consulting Engineers, Inc. at 6235 Hamilton Boulevard, Wescosville, PA 18106, upon request and non-refundable deposit of Sixty Dollars ($60.00) per set.

Each bid must be submitted in triplicate and accompanied by Bid Security made payable to the Township of Salisbury in an amount of ten percent (10%) of the Bid price and in the form of a certified or bank check or a Bid Bond issued by a surety meeting the requirements of Paragraph 5.1 of the General Conditions. The successful bidder must furnish Performance and Payment Bonds each in the amount equal to the Contract Price and meeting the requirements of Paragraph 5.01 of the General Conditions.

This project is subject to minimum wage rates in accordance with the applicable provisions of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act and the Public Works Employee Verification Act.

The Township of Salisbury reserves the right to waive any informality in, and/or to reject, any or all bids. No Bid will be accepted if obtained from sources other than the issuing office noted above.

Lindberg Park Final Restoration Project

INVITATION TO BID

Salisbury Township will receive sealed bids for the construction of the Lindberg Park Phases 3 & 4 Final Rehabilitation Project, until 2:00 PM (Prevailing Time) on Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at the Salisbury Township Municipal Building, 2900 S. Pike Ave., Allentown, PA 18103 at which time all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. All bids must be in triplicate, sealed, marked and addressed as follows:

PROPOSAL FOR: Lindberg Park Final Restoration Project

This project involves, but is not limited to: demolition of an ex. pavilion; installation of new pavilion and restroom; utility work incl. electric, water, and sanitary; installation of accessible pathways in pervious and bituminous materials; parking lot improvements to include stamped bituminous, signs, solar bollards, and curb; a fenced pickleball court; site grading and planting. Coordination with certified installers and PPL will be required. This is a Prevailing Wage Job. Separate bids will be required for:

PHASE 3 General & Architectural Contract
PHASE 3 Electrical Contract
PHASE 3 Plumbing Contract
PHASE 4 General Contract

Bid security in the form of a certified check or bank draft, payable to “Salisbury Township”, cash or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety, in an amount equal to Ten (10%) Percent of the bid amount shall be submitted with each bid.

The successful Bidder will be required to furnish and pay for the Performance Bond, the Labor and Material Payment Bond and the Maintenance Bond. The Contractor must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, color, religion, sex or national origin.

A non-mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting will be held on Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at 2:00 PM at the Salisbury Township Municipal Building, followed by a visit to the site for those interested.

Bid documents, Drawings and Technical Specifications, may be viewed at the Township Municipal Building and at URDC, 28 West Broad Street, Bethlehem, PA 18018. 610-865-0701. Electronic copies may be obtained from URDC, for a nonrefundable charge of fifty ($50.00) Dollars per set.
