The Township of Salisbury will receive sealed bids electronically via the PennBid Program for the Sanitary Sewer System Rehabilitation Project Open Cut Spot Repairs and Installation of Sewage Backwater Valves project. This work will include rehabilitation/spot repairs to their sanitary sewer system, along with the installation of backwater valves at select private property sewer service laterals. The sanitary sewer rehabilitation project involves the excavation and spot repairs to existing 8” clay pipe mains at various locations within the sewer system. In addition, five private property laterals will be provided with backwater valves. Bids will be received until 2:00 PM (prevailing time) on Monday, November 28, 2022. Bid results will be made available on PennBid after Owner’s bid evaluation and review.

Each bid must be accompanied by bid security made payable to the Township of Salisbury in an amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid price and in the form of a certified or bank check or a Bid Bond issued by a surety meeting the requirements of Paragraph 6.01 of the General Conditions. This project is subject to minimum wage rates in accordance with the applicable provisions of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act and the Public Works Employee Verification Act. Owner reserves the right to waive any informality in, and/or to reject, any or all bids.
